Young Person's Electronic OOH

Grades 5-9

  

Based on the Young Persons's OOH, each CD-ROM entry includes:
  • A brief description of the job with information on earnings, education, employment outlook, etc.
  • School subjects related to the job
  • Suggested activities for "trying out" the job

Jobs are arranged in easy-to-find clusters. The reading level of the text is low enough to be suitable for students from the third grade on.

The great graphics, including funny sounds, voice and animation are used to enhance kids's curiosity. There are hundred of color photos that show people at work in the occupations being described. Descriptions are accessed alphabetically by job title and by job cluster and every occupation can generate a one-page printout. Windows 3.1 and Windows '95 both included on CD-ROM.
